Evergreen 3x8 — Forest Green Zellige Tile

A deep, glossy forest green with real shine to the glaze. This is the color of cypress trees against a whitewashed wall — dense and true, with none of the yellow undertone that pulls toward olive. Evergreen sits opposite Pine in our green family: brighter, more saturated, and considerably less muted. Each tile is shaped and glazed by hand in Fez, in the ateliers Badia Design has worked with for nearly three decades.

Sold as individual tiles rather than mounted sheets, the 3x8 is our largest zellige format — well suited to herringbone, running bond, and stacked layouts where a bigger module reads as intentional rather than busy. Six tiles make up one square foot. It brings depth to a kitchen backsplash or powder room without going dark, and it pairs beautifully with brass, black iron, and warm white walls.

As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone and texture is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
