Evergreen 2x6 — Deep Green Zellige Tile
A deep, forest-toned green with hints of blue-black in the shadows. Picture cedar branches after rain, or the darkest corner of an old cypress grove where the light barely reaches — grounded, a little mysterious, never bright or garden-fresh. Evergreen is one of the most grounded colors in our palette, closer to pine and moss than to anything sitting on the lighter end of green, and it's always suited spaces wanting richness without leaning on blue. Up close, each tile shifts from a true forest green to a near-black jade, giving a full Evergreen wall real depth.
Sold as individual tiles rather than mounted sheets, Evergreen 2×6 is an elongated brick format — well suited to herringbone and running-bond layouts, and a natural fit for kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fountain surrounds where a rich, grounding green is the goal. Twelve tiles make up one square foot. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, walnut, and honed limestone.
As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone, texture, and edge shape from tile to tile is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. Because these are individual pieces rather than pre-set sheets, installation allows for custom layout and spacing to suit your design. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
