A wide-mouthed tapered cone in aged brass, finished with a plain rolled rim rather than a scalloped or crowned edge. The piercing shifts partway down the piece, opening with a band of leafy floral cutwork near the top before transitioning into a finer, more uniform dotted texture as the cone narrows toward its point. That shift from bold botanical detail to a quieter, more granular pattern gives the piece a sense of gradual movement from top to bottom, rather than one repeating motif throughout.
