Teardrop Hanging Lantern with Clear Glass

Teardrop Hanging Lantern with Clear Glass

Size: 12"W x 27"H x 12"D

SKU#: LIG624

A teardrop-shaped hanging lantern in aged brass, its bulbous crown finely pierced in lattice scrollwork over clear glass, narrowing below into a hexagonal body with matching glass panels framed in brasswork. A hinged door on one face allows access for wiring and bulb changes, and the piece finishes on a scalloped, pierced foot rather than a flat base. Hanging from a simple ring at the top, its narrower, more elongated silhouette gives it a lighter, more vertical presence than the broader hexagonal lanterns nearby.

Sold ready to wire with a standard socket and bulb, with the lighting kit itself sold separately, it suits a stairwell, an entry with real ceiling height, or anywhere a tall, slender hanging fixture can draw the eye upward.
