A tall, sharply tapered brass cone, wide and stepped at the top with two offset layered edges before narrowing to a point at the base. The front face is densely pierced in fine floral scrollwork covering nearly the full surface, while the back stays open and unpierced, giving the piece a flat, planar quality from behind and a richly worked one from the front. At twenty-two inches, it's among the taller pieces in the pierced brass line, with a sharper, more angular taper than the rounded cones seen elsewhere.

The layered stepped top sets this piece apart from the plainer flat-topped cones in the collection, adding a small architectural detail before the piece narrows dramatically toward its point.
