A tall cream-glazed lidded urn in the Fassi tradition of Fez, hand-thrown in a slender baluster shape and left undecorated so the glaze carries the look — warm ivory tones, soft wheel-throwing lines, light speckling, and the gentle crazing that come from being made the traditional way.

With no painted pattern, the metalwork does the talking. Hand-worked brass and silvered metal wraps the piece in three places: a scalloped collar at the shoulder, a wider belt at the neck, and a matching band at the foot, all worked with beaded wire and embossed diamond and leaf shapes. A domed lid with a metal-capped finial finishes it off.

The neutral glaze and the tall, upright shape make this an easy, versatile piece — calm and organic, with the metalwork giving it just enough presence. Works in a modern or minimalist room as well as a traditional, Moorish, or Mediterranean one. A natural fit for an entry console, mantel, sideboard, shelf, or floor corner.
