A compact, square-shaped sconce in dark aged metal, its flat face densely pierced in a fine, all-over vine and leaf scrollwork with no central medallion or crown detailing to interrupt the pattern. The simple boxed frame and shallow open-back construction give it a plainer, more minimal shape than the cones, lanterns, and shields elsewhere in the collection, letting the piercing itself do all the work. The dark, worn patina reads closer to iron than the warmer brass tones on many of its companions.

The square format and continuous vine pattern give this piece a quieter, more textile-like quality, closer to a piece of pierced screen than an architectural fixture.
