A single-leaf Moroccan door entirely sheathed in solid hand-hammered brass, with geometric khatim star panels and dense arabesque scrollwork chased and embossed directly into the metal surface. Hand-driven brass studs run the full perimeter of the frame and horizontal banding, in the construction vocabulary of traditional Moroccan treasury and sanctuary doors. Original brass ring-pull and pendant escutcheon at the upper midline; integrated brass doorknob, decorative keyhole plate, and lock cylinder at the lower stile — with the original brass key intact and tied to the lock. Solid wood substrate beneath the full brass cladding. Executed in the high Marrakech-Tiznit metalwork tradition, this door reads as a single luminous golden surface — a sculptural object as much as an architectural element.
Ideal as a statement piece for wine cellars, private galleries, libraries, meditation rooms, study entrances, vault doors, or any setting where sealed, contemplative presence is welcome. Equally suited to Moorish revival, Andalusi, Art Deco, and high-end Mediterranean interiors. Photographs spectacularly under warm tungsten or candlelight.
