A full cylinder of hand cut iron, straight-sided rather than tapered into a cone, finished with a jagged crown at the top and a lower band of arched cutouts running around the base. The main body is pierced in a dense floral scatter of small five-petal blooms and star-like accents covering nearly the whole surface. The metal shows a lighter, dusty gray-brown patina, more matte than the darker pieces in the line.

The straight cylinder shape sets this apart from the cone and shield forms elsewhere in the collection. Because the sides run parallel rather than narrowing, the light distributes evenly top to bottom rather than concentrating at either end, giving a more uniform wash across the wall. The banded cutouts at the base add a second, distinct layer of pattern below the main floral field. Its fuller, boxier profile makes it a good match for a wider wall space or a more substantial piece of furniture nearby.

Each piece is cut, pierced, and shaped by hand by metalworkers in Morocco, drawing on the same techniques that have produced lanterns and architectural ironwork there for generations. Small variations in the cut work and finish are inherent to the process.
