A hand-thrown terracotta amphora vase in the Moroccan ceramic tradition, with two looped handles and a wide flared rim. The warm burnt-orange clay is left unglazed on the body, giving it a raw, earthy feel that's different from the glazed pieces in the collection.

The decoration is split across two bands. At the neck, a bold frieze of black-painted scrollwork and foliate motifs wraps the flared collar. At the lower body, a wide dark band carries a line of painted Arabic calligraphy in white — readable script that encircles the full circumference of the vessel.

It's a smaller, more casual piece than the lidded urns — approachable and tactile, with a warmth that comes from the unglazed clay itself. Works as well holding stems as it does as a dry decorative object, and fits naturally in a kitchen, shelf, or tabletop arrangement.
