A monumental pair of Moroccan double doors entirely sheathed in solid hand-hammered brass, featuring four large geometric panels of dense interlocking khatim star tessellation framed by finer secondary frieze panels at the top and base. Every star, every line, and every recess is chased and embossed directly into the brass surface — solid metalwork rather than openwork, in the high Marrakech-Tiznit metalsmithing tradition. Hand-driven brass studs run the full perimeter of the frame and the horizontal banding between panels.

The original hardware is exceptional: two large pendant ring-pulls with octagonal-star plates mounted at the upper midline of each leaf — the formal Moroccan door-knocker designed to be lifted and dropped against the brass ground to announce a guest — and a substantial central horizontal slide-bolt latch running across both leaves at the lockset height, with integrated keyhole plate. Solid wood substrate beneath the full brass cladding.
