A double-gourd lidded urn in the Fassi tradition of Fez, hand-thrown and hand-painted with a floral design over a creamy ivory ground. The palette here is notably soft — cobalt blue and golden yellow arched bands frame repeated clusters of dusty rose blooms with teal green leaves, scattered across an open ivory ground. It's a gentler, more floral take on the Fez tradition than the dense geometric pieces, and the crazing and warm patina come from being made the traditional way.

A wide collar of hand-worked brass bands the neck, with a scalloped apron dropping over the shoulder, beaded wire edging, and embossed leaf shapes. A domed lid carries the painted work up to a metal-capped finial.

The open ground and floral motifs give this one a lighter, more romantic feel — less formal than the cobalt lattice urns, easier to place in a wider range of rooms. It suits traditional, Moorish, bohemian, and Mediterranean interiors, and works well on an entry console, mantel, sideboard, or shelf.
