A double-gourd lidded urn in the Fassi tradition of Fez, hand-thrown and hand-painted with a soft botanical design over a creamy ivory ground. Where many Fez pieces go dense and geometric, this one is lighter and more illustrative — stylized plant sprays with green stippled foliage, rust-red stems, and fine black scrollwork, repeated in panels around both bulbs. The gentle crazing and warm patina come from being made the traditional way.

The waist is belted with a wide collar of hand-worked brass and silvered metal — draped swags, beaded wire, and embossed leaf shapes — with a scalloped apron dropping over the lower bulb. A domed lid carries the painted foliage up to a metal-capped finial.

The airier, plant-based pattern gives this one a warmer, more relaxed feel than the bold cobalt or polychrome urns — easy to live with and a little less formal. It suits traditional, Moorish, bohemian, and Mediterranean rooms, and works as a statement on an entry console, mantel, sideboard, or shelf.
