A blue-and-white double-gourd lidded urn, hand-thrown and hand-painted in the Fassi style of Fez. Deep cobalt is worked over a creamy ivory ground across both bulbs, with the gentle crazing and warm patina that come from being made the traditional way.

The painting is dense and all-over: scalloped medallions and ogival panels packed with fine cross-hatched trellis grounds, dotted fields, and small florals, so there's almost no empty space — the kind of busy, intricate work the Fez tradition is known for. The waist is belted with an elaborate collar of hand-worked brass and silvered metal — beaded wire, embossed lozenges, and a scalloped apron of plaques dropping over both bulbs. A domed lid carries the cobalt work up to a metal-capped finial.
