A cream-glazed lidded urn in the Fassi tradition of Fez, hand-thrown in a rounded baluster shape and left unpainted so the glaze sets the tone — warm ivory, soft throwing lines, and the gentle crazing and speckling that come from being made the traditional way.

The metalwork is the feature here, and it's more layered than most: a tiered double collar of hand-worked brass and silvered metal rings the neck, worked with draped swags, beaded wire, and embossed leaf and teardrop shapes, with a scalloped apron spilling onto the shoulder. A matching band wraps the foot, and a domed lid finishes it with a metal-capped finial. The interplay of warm copper-gold and pale silver in the metal gives it a richer, more dimensional look than a single-tone collar would.

The neutral glaze keeps it versatile and easy to place, while the heavier metalwork gives it real presence. Equally at home in a modern or minimalist room or a traditional, Moorish, or Mediterranean one. A natural fit for an entry console, mantel, sideboard, shelf, or floor corner.
