A handwoven Zemmour kilim from Morocco's Middle Atlas, set on a deep crimson wool ground and worked from end to end with brocaded horizontal bands of diamonds, hooked motifs, and stepped lozenges in ivory, saffron, ochre, and olive. Unlike kilims that alternate plain stripes with patterned panels, this piece sustains pattern across nearly the full field, with each band carrying its own distinct motif vocabulary — a layered sampler of Berber symbol work. Tightly flatwoven, lightweight, and reversible, with a hand-tied crimson fringe at the foot. Suited to a living room floor, sofa drape, or full wall installation where the band rhythm becomes the composition.
