2x2 Sunflower Zellige Mosaic Tile

Sunflower is the golden hour of the Zellige spectrum — a saturated, sun-soaked yellow that recalls turmeric, Moroccan saffron markets, and afternoon light spilling across a riad courtyard. Each tile is hand-cut and hand-glazed by artisans in Fez, where the craft has passed from master to apprentice for nearly a thousand years. No two are identical. The slow shifts from honey to mustard to amber, and the soft pooling of glaze along each edge, are the visible fingerprints of the maker's hand.

Mounted on mesh sheets for straightforward installation, Sunflower 2×2 is suited for kitchen backsplashes, breakfast nooks, powder rooms, and entryway accents where warmth and energy are the goal. The larger 2×2 format reads as a cleaner, more architectural grid than the smaller mosaics — ideal where the wall itself should hold presence. It pairs naturally with unlacquered brass, walnut, white plaster, and terracotta.
