A wide, inverted triangular shade built from panels of dyed henna hide, set within a solid wrought iron frame worked in fine scrollwork that curls along both angled sides and meets at a single decorative drop at the point. A center seam splits the two hide panels down the middle, giving the piece a slightly folded, tent-like shape rather than one continuous surface. Mounted flush to the wall, the piece brings the same warm, natural tan of the earlier hide sconce into a taller, more dramatic silhouette, wide at the top and drawing sharply down to its point.

The scrolling iron frame does double duty here, holding the hide panels securely in place while adding its own substantial, hand-forged linework along every edge, so the piece reads as structure and ornament working together rather than one added on top of the other.
