A rounded, dome-shaped shade in dark iron, its flat back sitting against the wall while the curved front is covered edge to edge in a fine crosshatch lattice. Scattered across the surface are several six-point star medallions, each one set with small triangular segments of colored glass in blue, green, orange, and red, so the piece reads as a scatter of tiny stained glass stars set into an otherwise open, textured field. The low, wide dome shape gives it a very different profile from the tall cones and cylinders throughout the rest of the collection, sitting close and rounded against the wall rather than projecting outward.

The combination of fine lattice piercing and scattered colored stars gives this piece a busier, more jewel-toned surface than the plain crosshatch cylinders in the line, while its compact, rounded shape keeps it from ever feeling too large for a modest wall spot.
