Cornflower 2x2 — Blue Zellige Mosaic Tile

A true, medium blue with real saturation to it. This is the flower itself — cornflower blue as it actually exists, not a paler cousin of it — confident and clear without tipping into the deep weight of Bleu. Cornflower sits between our lighter Chambray and our deeper Bleu, holding a steady, medium tone that reads as classic rather than trendy. Up close, each tile shifts subtly from a slightly greyer blue to a purer, truer one, giving a full Cornflower wall a quiet, textured movement.

Mounted on mesh sheets for a straightforward, clean installation, Cornflower 2×2 reads as a cleaner, more architectural grid than the 1×1 — suited to kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fountain surrounds where the wall itself should hold presence. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, white oak, and lime plaster.

Each sheet covers one square foot. As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone and texture is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
