2x2 Chocolate Zellige Mosaic Tile

Chocolate is the deep cocoa heart of the Zellige spectrum — a rich, glossy brown that recalls aged mahogany, dark espresso, and the carved cedar of Marrakech's oldest doors. Each tile is hand-cut and hand-glazed by artisans in Fez, where the craft has passed from master to apprentice for nearly a thousand years. No two are identical. The slow shifts from cocoa to walnut to deep umber, and the soft pooling of glaze along each edge, are the visible fingerprints of the maker's hand.

Mounted on mesh sheets for straightforward installation, Chocolate 2×2 is suited for kitchen backsplashes, bar walls, fireplace surrounds, and library accents where warmth and depth are the goal. The larger 2×2 format reads as a cleaner, more architectural grid than the smaller mosaics — ideal where the wall itself should hold presence. It pairs naturally with unlacquered brass, walnut, leather, and travertine.
