A handwoven vintage Beni Ourain rug from Morocco's Middle Atlas, set on undyed ivory wool worked in plush shag pile and traced with a continuous diamond lattice in charcoal and crimson, each cell anchored by a small eight-point star in the same red tones. The stars give the composition a quiet rhythm — every diamond carrying the same internal mark, the field reading as a single sustained pattern rather than a freehand sketch. A rarer color variant of the classical Beni Ourain idiom, where the addition of red stars lifts the palette without breaking the natural fleece restraint.
