Beige 2x6 — Warm Neutral Zellige Tile

A mid-toned warm neutral, sitting comfortably between our cooler whites and our deeper golds. This is the color of raw linen left in the sun — soft, sandy, and steady, without the coolness of Blanca or the honeyed pull of Creme. Beige reads almost stone-like in bulk, which makes it one of the quietest, most versatile glazes we carry. Each tile is shaped and glazed by hand in Fez, in the same ateliers we've worked with since Badia Design began.

Sold as individual tiles rather than mounted sheets, the 2x6 is zellige in its brick format — built for herringbone, running bond, and vertical stack layouts where the pattern itself becomes part of the design. Twelve tiles make up one square foot. It works as a neutral backdrop for kitchens, bathrooms, and entries, and it pairs beautifully with warm brass, white oak, and natural stone.

As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone and texture is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
