A half-round shade in aged brass, its curved face built in alternating horizontal bands: a row of dense scrollwork piercing, then a plain pale panel, repeating three times down the height of the piece. Where its companion half-round sconce covers the whole face in one continuous medallion field, this one breaks the surface into a clear rhythm, ornament, pause, ornament, pause, giving it a more structured, striped read from a distance.

That banding changes how the light comes through: rather than an even scatter across the whole face, it comes in distinct horizontal bursts wherever the piercing sits, with the plain panels staying dark or glowing softly between them depending on what's behind them. Mounted flush against the wall with the same shallow depth as the rest of the half-round family, it suits the same tight hallway and close-wall spots, with a slightly bolder, more graphic presence than the all-over pierced version.
