A rectangular panel in cast zinc, its flared top and bottom edges bracketing a large central diamond of fine pierced scrollwork set against a field of milky white glass. Smaller pierced squares anchor each corner, framing the diamond and glass at the center in a clean, symmetrical composition. Where the Cast Zinc lanterns lean traditional and Moroccan, this piece reads as distinctly Art Deco, geometric, graphic, and architectural rather than ornate, closer in spirit to the stepped brass sconces from earlier in the session than to the faceted lanterns in its own material family.
