Aqua Hex Mosaic — Blue-Green Zellige Tile

A saturated sea-green with true blue beneath it, the same restless glaze that shifts between deep teal and a brighter, almost jade green as the light moves. At the hexagon scale, that movement plays out tile to tile across the sheet rather than along one continuous run, so no two pieces catch the light quite the same way. That variation becomes the whole point at this scale: dozens of small pieces, each slightly different, forming one quietly textured plane. These pieces are shaped and glazed by hand in the same Fez ateliers that have supplied us since the beginning.

The hexagons come mounted on mesh backing for straightforward installation, with each sheet covering one square foot and butting cleanly against the next so the honeycomb repeat carries across a wall or floor without visible seams. It suits shower floors, bathroom walls, kitchen backsplashes, and powder rooms where the small format can turn a modest surface into something worth looking at, and it pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, walnut, and lime plaster.

As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike. The natural variation in tone and texture is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
