A pair of antique Moroccan double doors in the refined zouak tradition, painted entirely by hand on a luminous ivory ground — an inversion of the traditional dark-ground zouak palette that gives this composition its distinctive grace and lightness. '

Six large painted medallion panels, three per leaf, each anchored by a vertical drop-pendant medallion of stylized pomegranates, lotus blossoms, and trailing vine in mirrored symmetry. Elegant scrolling foliate borders frame each panel, punctuated by Endless Knot devices at the corners. The full perimeter carries a fine double-line floral frieze in miniature echo of the panel borders.

The decorative palette draws on the full classical Moroccan vocabulary — forest green, indigo, antique rose, lavender, gold, and oxblood — but rendered with the restrained delicacy of a manuscript illumination rather than the weight of a ceremonial entrance. Cylindrical wooden pivot pegs intact at top and bottom — the original Moroccan hinge mechanism that predates European hardware. Original iron slide-bolt latch and brass ring-pull hardware mounted in the traditional Moroccan position. Solid wood construction.
