Pine 4x4 — Olive Green Zellige Tile

A muted, olive-toned green with a matte, earthy finish. This is dried pine needles underfoot, or an old army canvas left out in the weather — quiet, muted, never a bright or garden green. Pine sits apart from Evergreen's brighter forest tone and Hunter's near-black depth, holding its own place as the most muted, khaki-leaning green in the range. Up close, each tile shifts from a warmer olive to a cooler, more grey-green, giving a full Pine wall a soft, textured movement.

Sold as individual tiles rather than mounted sheets, Pine 4×4 is the classic zellige field format — suited to kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, hammam-style showers, and fireplace surrounds where a muted, earthy green is the goal. Nine tiles make up one square foot. It pairs beautifully with unlacquered brass, walnut, and honed limestone.

As with all handmade zellige, no two tiles are ever quite alike — the natural variation in tone, texture, and edge shape from tile to tile is the hallmark of the craft, not a flaw. Because these are individual pieces rather than pre-set sheets, installation allows for custom layout and spacing to suit your design. We recommend ordering ten percent beyond your total square footage to allow for cuts and pattern matching, and sealing prior to grouting for wet installations.
