A rounded, basket-shaped shade sits atop a matching scalloped base, both surfaces set edge to edge with a mosaic of small polished stones and cabochons in warm amber, cobalt blue, and forest green, framed by rows of pale bone inlay and finished in two-tone copper and silver-plated brass. The metalwork forms a diamond lattice beneath the inlay, so structure and ornament read as one continuous surface rather than metal with decoration applied on top. Between the wide basket shade and the smaller scalloped foot below, the piece has real visual weight without being tall.

The dense inlay work sets this apart from every piece elsewhere in the collection, closer to fine jewelry box work scaled up to a wall fixture than to pierced ironwork or stained glass panels. Because the color comes from set stones rather than pierced openings, the effect reads as rich and textured even unlit, and the two-tone metal shifts between warm copper and cool silver depending on the light. Its rounded, generous shape suits a dressing room, a powder room, or anywhere a piece of genuine jewelry-like craftsmanship deserves to be seen up close.
